Flocking is more of a process than a specific material as the fibers used in flocking can be made out of a very wide range of materials. And it can range from cheap to pretty darn good. For example it is often used in cars in those felt type dashboards.

Doing a bit of searching online, caring for flocked surfaces looks a bit tedious. This piece likely would need an enclosed acrylic display case IMO, especially being white flock.

It would probably need to be airtight too.

Yeah I was thinking more of a solid lower/raise on/off type case, as opposed to something with doors and such.

We have a great car show here in the UK called Wheeler Dealers. It involves two guys, Mike who buys and Edd who fixes, cars. The plan being to turn a profit, but more importantly, to keep old classics from ending up on the scrap heap. While most projects turn out great, one or two go astray. One such project, which involved a 1970's Pacer. Edd, the mechanic thought it would be a great idea to spray the dashboard white, using flocking paint. Dreadful dreadful idea. To really make the Pacer look awful they covered it in white hexagons, and slapped on some hexagon themed wheels, which didn't look great. As a result they failed to sell the car.

In my humble opinion, i would have liked to have seen the Pacer sprayed silver. Interior fitted with classic black leather seats. The wheels replaced with some that reflected the erea from which the car originated. I actually like the look of the Pacer shape

I found a 7 minute clip (a full show tends to have a runtime of 30 mins)

Interesting, I don't recall ever seeing her in a dress before. I guess this may be their own take on the character.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The line running down almost looks like a seam or a connection between two shells. Perhaps removable?

They're calling it a detachable decency dress.
