all these thanos collectibles have him wearing his armor with the gauntlet which obviously never happened, not even once

Well, in Infinity War, after he fought the Hulk, he took off his helmet and put the Tesseract stone in his gauntlet and he had armor on. In Endgame...I've only seen it once, but yeah, I think you're right. I suppose it's a little creative interpretation, which I'm fine with.

I prefer Thanos' armored look but I think the IW statue is where it's at. A dynamic pose, better base, and he is aptly wielding the Infinity Gauntlet.
