The Matrix was an absolute gem and still is to this day, I liked the second one also although the third lost me a bit. It in now way needs rebooting! I'd much rather they focused all of this energy on developing a new franchise to rival it. Or at least something new...

The original Matrix was awesome.... the two movies that followed it were just ok IMO....
As long as the new stuff is a prequel or happens after the original Matrix movies is fine, I just don't want to see a reboot....

It sounds like it'll be a prequel reboot.... Pointless really.

First rocked
Second was ok but did have the twins and highway scene
Third just sucked
I'd love to have more movies but Keanu and Fishburne need to be in them.

Technically, the second movie made way for up to, what was it, 9 different versions of the matrix? The matrix we watched was the 9th neo to do those same events. We could have the same general plot but acted out 9(or something) different ways.
