Testors Airbrush Set?
http://www.testors.com/product/13694...ith_Compressor
Would you have bought this for about $120? Is this a good set for starter? I am thinking about dabbing into this hobby...likely to build 1-3 kts per year so not a heavy user?
Thoughts?
If this kit sucks anyone can recommend a better one?

i bought a similar set for 160 on ebay and i love the ease of changing out the different heads. i think it's worth it if you dont want to mess with needles and fine tuning your brush for different effects like splatter, etc

I have a more professional airbrush set that I'm probably never going to use because there is no way I have any time for it. I would give to my 15-year-old daughter, but I have nighmares about my garage being turned into a disaster zone. I bought it for $200 so if anyone is interested...
Specs are: Master Airbrush Model G22, TC-20T Air Compresssor with Air Storage Tank plus a Full Paint and Accessory Package (it comes with 12 Createx paints or something like that). All still in the box.

Honestly it's a decent beginner set, I have it but have never really used it.
For that kind of money you should look into a Badger Velocity airbrush.
Splatter effects and the like can be achieved by adjusting the air pressure on any brush.

Testors
I have a Testors 470...I don't know if it's the same or not...looks it though.
It's a decent airbrush...just remember it's the talent not the tool! Admittedly I've only ever used a Badger 150 IL before the 470...I like the 470 better.
Ive I were you, I'd get an air tank too and hook it into that compressor then feed the airbrush from the tank....just so your air supply doesn't vary.

470
I had a Badger 150 and also have the Testors 470...I really like that there is minimal breakdown and cleaning required with the 470.
