I tried to get into Penny Dreadful, but like you mentioned, its heavily dependant on whether you enjoy the subject material. I just couldn't get into it despite giving it 2 valid attempts.

Welcome To Sweden - Season 1

I generally don't like comedies anymore, but this one is very good based on Amy Poehler's brother, Greg who moved to Sweden to be with his girlfriend. There are many funny celebrity cameos. 8/10

Just finished season 1 of Sons of Anarchy. Very good show. Ranks up there close to Breaking Bad so far.

He hasn't steered me wrong yet. Well, there was one time he suggested I skip Arrow.... he then later becomes a huge fan of the show and I have to catch up via Netflix once season 2 hit. And you know what, I don't think he is an IM3 fan. This deal is getting worse all the time!

That good eh? I have come close to watching this show but have commited to it yet. With all the talk it gets I may have to rectify that soon.

I heard him on NPR talking about the show and it sounded pretty good, but then I promptly forgot all about it. May have to look it up at some point.
