Home - Nice little animated film, although the forcing of everything Rhianna down your throat, was a little irritating. 7/10

Son of Dracula (Universal, 1943) 7/10 - Lon Chaney jr. is probably the most overlooked Dracula, but I think he did an awesome job as the Count (Alucard in this movie). Some new Vampire mythos was introduced in this one & I had no problem w/ them. If you burn a vampires coffin, along with the ancestral-home dirt within, before the vampire returns to it at dawn, the vampire dies. Very beautiful Universal Horror with outdoor, woodland scenes that are far more atmospheric than any I saw in The Wolfman. Great use of effects for vampires turning to mist, & even the bat-work is some of the better I've seen for this era. Chaney played all 4 of the major Universal monsters, & he hits Dracula right out of the park.

Been waiting to see this one since release and I finally got a chance tonight. Sadly, after leaving the theatre, I feel as if I just wasted 2+ hours.
I thought that Ultron would be a tough villain to make 'work' on the big screen and I feel I was correct. Nothing about him ever clicked for me. Im happy I didn't see this with my wife as I can see the majority of non-comic fans being lost on this one since he was so poorly implemented. On top of that, Vision was just completely out of place in the film.
The movie dragged...a lot...Too many scenes were drawn out to the point of boredom.
Very few jokes and/or snide remarks actually worked for me. It just felt like they had to have a quip of some type every few minutes 'just because'.
Also felt that much of the action was lost on the big screen as the rapid camera cuts made it hard at times to tell what was happening in a given scene. Maybe it'll show better in a home environment?
Don't know what went wrong with this. Where's everything in the first Avengers was firing on all cylinders, this one was just exhausting to sit through. Iron Man 3 officially has a friend at the bottom of my superhero s*** list.

Lol. You make an interesting point with Vision. He was a highlight for me but when a (super hot milf) co-worker was chatting me up regarding AoU she signaled Vision out as the main piece of the film that she really didn't like. (FTR she has an overall positive take on the film as a whole).

Agreed, major let down on many levels. Luckily Mad Max kicked ass and exceeded expectations.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The Losers 8/10
A really fun action/military/heist/revenge film based on the comic by the same name. It also features an absolute bevy of stars who are now in their own, more overt and recognizable, comic book roles.

I haven't seen this in a long time but I remember it being a really great movie. It is what the A Team movie should have been.
