I, Robot... The Vision FS!

Hi guys,

I have today received the full size sttaue of the Vision and I am very happy with it. I got the Phasing Version (#132/300) and I am truly excited that I finally managed to add his statue to my collection.
It had been on my wishlist for quite some time and I feel satisfied the hunting is finally over

Vision is portrayed in a very iconic and powerful pose and his stretched left arm and partly phasing body convey his might and incredible powers.
The sculpture shows Vision overlooking what happening in front of him but the sculpture is far from static or dull. On the contrary this is not an android you would like to see angry judging by the determined and focused look on his face.
The sculptor managed to capture power, leadership and calm determination in this sculpture and Vision looks like an insurmountable object in the path of every imgainable villain.

The paintjob is good, the sculpture is regal and impressive and the overall presence of the statue is great so all in all I am a happy camper!

A big 'THANK YOU!' goes to Frank who enabled me to add this great statue to my collection.
Thanks for everything Frank; it was a pleasure to meet you again!

I have taken some quick shots of Vision which I have posted below.
I did not have a lot of time to take the pics but I hope you will enjoy them nevertheless.
Have fun!

---------------------------------------------

Background:

The metal monstrosity called Ultron created the synthetic humanoid known as the Vision from the remains of the original, android Human Torch of the 1940s to serve as a vehicle of vengeance against the Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Himself constructed by size-changing scientist Henry Pym, Ultron inadvertently gained sentience and rebelled against the Avengers' resident roboticist.

The living machine programmed the Vision's neural processors with the brain patterns of the ionically charged costumed champion called Wonder Man and implanted a control crystal to keep him in check.
Ultron dispatched the Vision to draw the Avengers into a deathtrap, and it was during this initial encounter that the diminutive dynamo known as the Wasp coined the synthezoid's name.
At first sight of the spectral entity, the horrified heroine called him an "unearthly, inhuman vision."

Moved by the Avengers' plight, the Vision betrayed his programming and helped the mighty mortals defeat his calculating creator.

"Once I imagined -- perhaps hoped that in some way I was Simon Williams! I AM NOT! What difference if I have the same brain waves! I AM UNIQUE! I am THE VISION -- ! And thus...I am content!"

"Look for me again...when the time is right. For I will be there."

The three laws of Robotics

LAW I. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

LAW II. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

LAW III. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

A Cimmerian
I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.
