Thanks! I actually colored it first in photoshop to see what it would look like then I copied my own colors manually with the markers!

This Hulk 181 riff is going to the generous person who bought most of my art where I gave all the proceeds to Typhoon Haiyan relief. He requested this cover because he is a Wolverine fan.

Since he had a lot of my stuff, some of them he said were keepers. But he did try to sell some to at least recoup his donation somewhat. He told me he sold this recreation I made:




After hearing that he sold a Neal Adams Batman cover, I decided I'd try taking a crack at another classic Adams Batman cover which I have already started but haven't finished yet:

I decided to "paste-up" the logos to give it a more retro feel. So here is the finished work:

I haven't posted here in over a year. Wow.

Anyway, I did this drawing over the weekend as a birthday gift for my friend's son. This is done using markers.

Not sure if it qualifies as a recreation, but it sure was inspired by the cover of Avengers JLA #4 by George Perez although I changed Superman to the Hulk and did it trying to ape the style of Alex Ross and Joe Jusko.
