Abin Sur Power Battery? anyone have this?

I finally got a hold of an Abin Sur power battery. I am super excited. This has been one I have wanted for a while. I do have a question for anyone with one.... I know the Alan Scott Battery's have had a problem with the paint crazing (paint cracking) I was wondering if the Abin Sur have the same problem?

I have The Kyle mini battery, Hal mini battery and the first Hal fullsize battery and these do not seem to have that issue.

I bought the battery on ebay and the pictures did not show any paint issues, the description did not mention any paint issues. It arrived today and there is crazing on the ring stand and on the battery itself. More in some area's.

I know the Alan Scott Battery does this, but I do not remember reading anything about the Abin Sur battery doing it. I love the battery. The design is great. I like that it has the symbol engraved on the back side.

I have both the Alan Scott and the Abin Sur batteries and they both have this paint problem. With mine, it's not noticeable unless you're right up on top of the batteries. It actually looks good on the Alan Scott battery, giving it an aged appearance. The Abin Sur battery barely has it at all, but it is there. You could return it, but I'm guessing they all have this problem. Maybe look into having it custom painted with a green chromed look?

Thanks, knew the Alan Scott battery had the problem but I have not read anything about the Hal Jordan or Abin Sur batteries having the issue. Well that makes me feel a little better.
