Man, I haven't been in a decade maybe. Honestly, there are great cons every weekend in different cities almost all year long. While SDCC used to be great, I think it's gotten too crazy for my liking.

I believe pricing broke down as follows:

Wednesday (Preview Night): $40
Thursday: $55
Friday: $55
Saturday: $55
Sunday: $40

Yeah, airfare and hotels will murder you. That's why it's more of a vacation trip to San Diego than it is about hitting a convention. Thankfully we love the city and have friends who live there.

Yup, I'm a SD native and I can say that there's better places to visit than the convention during a stay in SD. Mission beach, La Jolla, ....
