Dan I have a guestion...Can Future be used to totally seal the statue so it won't chip or scratch, and then spray with Testors dull coat for the matte look?

Part two....What can you thin Future with to go threw an airbrush or does it spary good without thinning?

sprays good without thinning but you can use tamiya acrylic thinner.

I allways spay my future without thinning it but I also use my base coat airbrush and not my sotar

One other use for Future....you can add some Tamiya Flat Base in about a 5:1 ratio (Future to FBase) and create your own airbrushable matte finish.

Ted, as noted, Future is thin enough to airbrush right out of the bottle. And you can spray it for a durable protective coat, let it dry overnight and then follow up with a few thin coats of Dullcote to dull it down.

Thanks for the help.
I went to A&P to pick up Future and they don't carry it. They Carry Pledge WITH Future shine(has the future logo in the middle) is this the same stuff? Or should i NOT use it?

Ick is right--you should only use Future Acrylic Floor Finish.

Here's a question that I haven't seen asked yet ... can Future Floor Was be brushed on with a paint brush with the same results?

The reason I ask is that I have a piece (Mon-El)



that I'm painting and I would like for the belt buckle and the buttons that hold his cape to be shiny. I'm painting them in metallic gold with a yellow oxide under-coating ... can I use FFW for this, or is there something else that would be better?
