I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Congrats! So is this pretty hard to find then? Haven't been following SW Attakus, was just curious

Interesting. I wasn't aware they divided the ES into two runs. It certainly helps explain how these dried up so fast.

hopefully they figured out a better way to pack these things. I had 5 of them, and 4 were damaged.

if anyone sees this available for sale anywhere I'd really appreciate if you could let me know. I've been wanting this piece but never got around to my first pre-order.

ebay
Managed to get a MIMB one from a chap in Belgium
I checked ebay every few days for several months
It came up, I bought it now an hour or so into the auction
I couldn't believe my luck when it arrived MIMB
I paid €450 shipped to UK.
It is true, many of the first run of 750 arrived broken
which made this piece rare and valuable
Last week, one sold on ebay US for a whopping
$1575 330975243021
I received an email reply from Attakus July 2012
stating that they want to complete the original run
of 750, but it was not likely to happen before 2013.

Given we might see another large scale probe droid coming soon, if the SDCC picture is any indication, maybe they know this and want to take advantage of their licensing while they can.
Not to mention the new one looks like it will hover on a post rather then sit on it's legs and be articulated.

The Sideshow 1:6 version will be more accurate and will come with movable joints, lights and maybe even sound. Glad I didn't go for the Attakus uber-fragile Probot
