It would have been an instant buy had he been wearing the green trunks.

I believe this is the main reason why it's not more popular, them green trunks are iconic!

But yeah, it's an out-of-this-world statue, it's breath-taking!

It’s a beast but again I couldn’t agree more about it being one of XMs sleepers. It will get attention in any collection guaranteed.

As for Bowen pieces every single one is amazing . There are 4 versions I own all of them

Red trunk
Green trunk
70s black suit
Faux bronze exclusive
26 inches tall? YIKES!!!! Some children are not even that tall. I do like that costume though it would have been cool to see an alternate in the green trunks ( As for the Bowen it would be between the red or green trunk if I purchase it again. The Black costume is going for way to much money).

And the more I look at this the more I really do like this statue alot.

It would have been really awesome to see it in green trunks. Hard to visualize now but I do like the modern look.

My favorite Sub-Mariner piece done to date is from Hard Hero. It captured the essence of the character perfectly and had the coolest and most dynamic pose to date.

No offence everyone has opinion that hard hero piece is terrible. I’ll never put that in my collection.

Randy Bowen nailed face sculpt
Marvel milestones Namor captured the perfect comic Namor
XM & SS comiquette were most dynamic

Hard hero had a cool water effect but overall kinda looked cheap to me. He seemed very cartoon like

Exactly...and that is why I preferred HH over Bowen back in the day. And also, HH started the aggressive dynamic poses. To this day, they have the best DD, Angel (X-Men), Hercules, and Sub-Mariner. That Subby was dope...Seth Vandable could do no wrong in my book.

I am having a dilemma. I have money for one statue from XM and can’t decide wether to purchase the Namor or Dr. Strange. They are both on my top list for superheroes. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks collectors!!

Buy the character/statue you like better man; doesn't really matter what we think.

I'm a Dr Strange fan myself and I'd probably buy that one if I found a good price on it, but you buy what you like. Too much money to go by what others think.

I can promise you this, you will not be disappointed with Namor. You will feel like you got your money’s worth. He’s huge. He has that Wow factor. I’ve had friends who don’t really collect statues come over and he’s one of the first their eyes gravitate towards
