And will Chuck go shopping once more at the grocery store dairy aisle or will he move on to the frozen section?

better episode by far this time

Warning spoilers

did not buy the Kim thing at the end, soooo predictable and completely unnecessary i feel. It's pretty obvious that Kim and Jimmy are going to be going through some rough patches ahead and may break up from their lives going different ways.

everything else was brilliant. Jimmy torturing that poor old lady to get her to settle the case was exactly what you'd expect from "Saul"

Chuck turning on HHM, Mike's meeting, this was top quality writing, acting, direction. What I tune in for each week.

I don't know why the heck Jimmy can't be doing Paralegal work for Kim while he's suspended. she could pay him for his time as she'd have way more free time by not having to do everything herself and it'd keep him from harassing poor sweet old ladies

also Chuck still sucks....

I like how Chuck officially has only one friend now, his doctor lady pal, everyone else hates his guts.

Wow. I mean just, wow. This is one that I'll be thinking about for a while I think. I'm going to take the show at face value and not call BS for how quickly Chuck went from "cured" to definitely not cured. So he only looked cured. It seems that the one thing that was just barely holding him together was his position at HHM, and with that gone he lost all of his desire to live. His threatening a lawsuit was never about money, it was his attempt to gain leverage so that he could keep his position.

I have to assume that Chuck held Jimmy completely responsible for his forced retirement.

I think you're right on all counts. That's why he just wanted to end the law suit threat with just a handshake and looked so devastated that Howard was paying him off out of his own pocket.

Though you're supposed to loath the characters those last scenes of his breakdown made me feel so sorry for him.

That series of scenes, from the board room to the lobby announcement, was very well-done. I could feel Howard's aggravation and desire to just get Chuck out of there by any means. The final kick in Chuck's ass - wasting no time in rushing him out the door of HHM, and to thunderous applause, no less - was devastating.

i'm pretty disappointed in how stupid Verner ended up being, but the Jimmy speech at the end and the look on Kim's face when she was seeing the "real" Jimmy was pretty amazing.
