Hah. I'm good for the house...waiting on the release announcement, which should be in the next month or so. That said, I'm not back into the buying game as mortgage/furnishing now takes priority. I have two more pieces to post this month, which I've been waiting on, but I'm not purchasing anything new for some time, unless the funds come from existing pieces of mine.
With this piece, I had credit with Maleev on an upscale commission from last year. He allowed me to transfer that over to this and pay the difference. So I guess...I kinda, sorta bought something new! He's really nice to work with, by the way.
As for the sale I recently had - that could have easily been avoided if I cancelled the primary piece I've been waiting on. A 22x31" image area Batman/Arkham piece by Lee Bermejo. But obviously, I'd be out of my right mind to cancel this thing. From the shots he's shared with me...it's all downhill for my collecting from here lol.
