I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I love this movie. It isn't a 10 / 10 by any stretch of the imagination, but the film really has a special place for me.

Well firstly, remakes of mediocre Horror films are rarely a good idea. Original Horror is mostly miss but in the last 5 years or so there have been a few hits here and there. 10 Cloverfield Lane, Split, Train to Busan and A Quiet Place off the top of my head were all great. At least in my eyes.

Probably trying to replicate their success with IT, but it's source material probably resonates and translates a littler better than Pet Cemetery does.

Alita Battle Angel 10/10
I was skeptical about seeing this in theatre but I picked up the 4K/ 3D blu ray set.
This is by far one of the best movies made. I’m really surprise it didn’t do that well in theatre.
There’s a lot of emotion and character build up for Alita. The CGI are top notch. I watched it 4 times in a role starting with Blu-ray, 4k (twice) and 3D. The 3D transfer is the best I’ve seen. Amazing action sequence. I think this will become a cult classic soon.

If you loved Avatar, you should love Alita. They both have one-dimensional characters and a contrived love story.
