When I saw it up on SSC, I was surprised to see the $3k price tag. Way too pricey imo. Closer to $2k and I'd have at least considered it as it does look really good.

Im pretty sure it was cheaper.
They bumped it up a couple hundred bucks when no one was looking.

But I'm not fully certain

Ever since seeing that image of Arnold on the Sideshow website, i couldn't help but think of the zombie from Day of the Dead

That was the standard price for a standard 1/2 scale piece back in 2016.

And honestly I’ve been surprised that they’ve more or less kept that the price for so long, whereas their other scales have gone up by quite a margin.

And add in the punched hair and silicone and that was always going to be more expensive.

Queen Studios Aquaman which is also a rooted silicone piece is also a slightly more expensive than the standard T-800 price at $2,369.

So add in an addition headsculpt in Silicone for say $500 USD (using P1 Pennywise additional headsculpts as a base), and Prime 1 were almost certain to price this around $2,800 USD for the Deluxe.

Heck that Death Stranding piece is $3,599 USD! And that also comes with the 2 heads etc. Which was $800 more than the standard Polystone version, just for the silicone head sculpt!

Got bored so I did a little Photoshop edit. I follow the artist who sculpted the head on this and he's nailed Arnold before, so I don't think the sculpt itself is what's messing with the likeness.

-Looks to me like they punched the hairline wrong, which makes the forehead appear too small and the face too wide.

-The length of some of the hairs also felt off.

-Checking the film reference, his Gargoyles ought to be shorter on the vertical, longer on the horizontal; in other words, they should cover less of the forehead above the brow and cover more of the sides of the face.

That's basically all I changed, left the sculpt alone.

Good call. It's a bit too narrow on top of the forehead. That was the first thing I noticed when I saw it. Much more recognizable Arnold on your edit.

Wow good job, at first it really looks like you scaled the head a few mm wider,
but yes I can see you changed the hair a bit and the glasses are less high.

That's a real optical illusion, much beter indeed.

His Hair looks better on the right in the original. it looks like you've kinda gave Arnold his later terminator 2 and predator style hair cut. In T1 it wasn't as slick and the bottom part of the sides stick out more and slope outwards.

Dodgy hair cut. I wonder what Arnold thought about it during the shoot?

Was going off the shots below. I suppose they can keep the messier hairs along the sides, but the forehead should look wider and taller from the front.
