Watch A Minute Of UNDER THE DOME Footage | Badass Digest
Some more details about the show. Been reading about this show past several months now and it's good to finally see some footage. It's based on Stephen King's novel and comic writer Brian K. Vaughan will be the executive producer.

Besides Dean Norris from Breaking Bad, I remember Britt Robertson from her show Life Unexpected.

I read the book. The ending was so lame.

Read it too. Have no urge to see a show on it.

King writes some great books, but this bug squasher wasn't really one of them IMO.

Really wish HBO or Showtime would buy the rights to Dark Tower.

I enjoyed the pilot and I am definitely hooked for now. I did not expect the dome to make an appearance during the opening minutes but I guess they wanted to get the attention of the audience pretty quickly; especially for those who end up changing channels if it isn't exciting right from the get go.

Stephen King in the original first look video (linked in the opening post) stated that it's a 13 week event, which means it's a mini series with only one season. And though I haven't read the novel, it does seem the pacing has been sped up to make room for all major characters to be established in the pilot.

Under the Dome - A Letter From Stephen
Stephen King talks about how different the series Under The Dome might be to the novel and why that's not such a bad thing.

Strong pilot certainly guarantees I'll be interested in seeing more. Some great incidents with the sudden appearance of the dome, but I am concerned we won't be seeing many more of those since the presence of the dome has been established.
