I could see this translating very well to film. Video game adaptation history is not in it's favor though.

I've been playing borderlands 2 for almost 2 years now. On my 5th play through.
Borderlands would make a great movie.

Just playing it for the first time with my daughter. It would indeed lend itself well to a video game adaptation as the narrative is loose. I find that the issue with VG adaptations is that Hollywood typically chooses to adapt VG properties that are already cinematic in nature. Stuff like Borderlands would give them a loose framework and rich concept to play with.

This is good news. Loved the games so hopefully Hollywood will make a good film. I am thinking R rated in order to do the property justice.
