Apparently Wes Craven passed away. He was 76.

Freddy Krueger is my all time favorite scary movie villain. Hell, he's in the top five for favorite villain period. And while I feel the Scream movies got a bit to predictable after the first, it cant be understated enough the twist Scream put on the slasher genre to be felt for years after.
