I'm glad you and I are on the same page about the rehashed art, just pure cheap laziness! I think it would be awesome to have a set that included new work from all of the original Masterpieces artists like Boris/Julie (beautiful new piece by the way!) Unfortunately Tim Hildebrandt passed away back in 2006.

yeah the masterpieces are the one line of trading cards that cant be cheaped out on, they cant use rehashed artwork for masterpieces. I know the industry isnt nearly as popular as it was in the wonderful wonderful 90's so its harder for them to produce and pay for original paintings, but if they cant do it then they just need to not call rehashed sets masterpieces and just name them something else, masterpieces should be reserved for the utmost best of the best

A set made up of artists from previous masterpiece sets 92,93,94,95,96 would be so awesome! it would kind of be like the 93 and 95 sets which were a combination of artists

I cant believe I didnt know Tim Hildebrandt passed away that is really crappy

Beautiful, that is pure Jusko right there. He has not lost his touch one bit! I really hope the boxes aren't going to be premium prices like many of the things UD has put out lately because I love to buy 2 or 3 of them!

Its extremely extremely rare that ill ever buy a full box, but in this case im going to make an exception, definitely going to get 2 or 3 boxes as well I think these boxes are gonna sell pretty fast as all the old school card collectors will gobble this set up
