I concur - The biggest draw back with the variant is that some characters completely disappear, particularly the Hulk and Fury while Iron Man and BW become too prominent.

Since he never did an one for IM IMHO you could always stand pat on the IM2 version and not feel obligated to get a IM3 Stout. As you could never have a "Stout IM Trilogy" you could just display them separately if you do fall in love with a Stout IM3.
