The Black Panther card is the sort of Sketch card quality you expect in this set
Star Lord looks like his head is a beer can on fire!

I have completed the base set with the exception of the high cards, probably have to get the purple versions of those. Just a few more canvas, battle and holofoils and I'll be done. But man what beautiful art it is!

Awesome! Yes, the art is stunning! The quality card stock, obscure thickness as it may be, makes holding each feel as though it were a little painting.. storage wise, only thing I have figured out so far is 100 pt Magnet loaders for the more rare ones.. i just came across those and they are great, aint nothing getting in those and i love the corners dont have any contact at all - great for the collector OCD haha

Yeah, I just have them in 100 pt top loaders for the time being, but I plan to use the Ultra Pro magnet cases like premium_substit mentioned. I'm just trying to figure out a source where I can buy a large quantity for a good price.

As far as bulk goes - one thing that is certain across all stores it seems if you buy the 25 pack they are half the price of buying them individually. Also the case the 25 pack comes in makes a convenient storage solution

Yeah, I'm trying to get a local store to order me several cases. They don't normally carry them instead they have Pro-Mold cases which I don't really care for.

did you manage to complete the set Alex23? any update on how you have these displayed?
I finally cracked and bought the set, I couldnt resist anymore, and im giddy as a school boy lol
I dont have them yet they need to arrive in the mail
but I got the normal 1-81 base set, the 82-90 epic purples (what a pain those were to track down) the holofoil, battle spectra, and canvas sets, that is good enough for me
I'll post some pics when I get everything

heres a question
I remember earlier in the thread it was mentioned Joe was commissioned for 135 original paintings, but with the 90 base cards, and the 10 canvas, 16 battle spectra, and 17 holoflash that is only 133 cards, what are the other 2 paintings?
