Well...from the complete lack of posts with regards to the Power Rangers movie, it seems that I may be the only one who posts here who has actually seen it. That, or I'm the only one who will admit it...LOL...

So. It was a mindless couple of hours, but I didn't completely dislike it. I didn't go in with huge expectations and that helps. It was just a colorful action flick that was trying to jump on the current superhero movie bandwagon by changing the Power Rangers enough to make them more like superheroes are in the movies. It was kind of fun. At least I didn't feel like I was going to have a flashing light seizure like I did when I went to the last Transformers movie...

I liked it as well but had a totally different experience
It was waaaaaay more character driven and played out like a "coming of age" film more than a superhero film for me. Not a bad thing in light of the risks they took with the characters back stories. I actually thought they were too light on the super heroics and it played out like a 90's cbm in that you only get the costumed fun at the end of the film.

Not at all a bad time at the movies though I will lament the minuscule use of the theme song
