Agree. This production piece pic does not look good IMO. The base looks "plastic" like and the fact part of the headsculpt lacks detail.

They spent perfecting the Bale sculpt instead of the actual Batman cowl.

At first glance I don’t see much of an issue, but given the amount of negative comments I’ll have to trust that there’s something wrong here.

But I’ll be displaying the unmasked head sculpt most of the time anyway which is why I preordered that version in the first place.

But if the issues are true, then I can see why it would be a good idea to wait for the eventual next Nolan suit version. Or maybe get the Prime 1 version. I myself didn’t like the pose for that one even though they’re similar, but it was the unmasked head sculpt which was my deciding factor to forgo that version.

For the cowl I think the nose is too long, but I'll probably be keeping it. The Prime 1 version is a bit overscaled.

Half of all their DC movie (or in general) pieces are overscaled.

I think of the dozen of their pieces that I have 6 are overscaled. So I’m more or less used to it.
