The thing about that Sakura cancellation (and some other character info that I deleted recently) is that it was a while ago. There could very well be a Sakura in the works again. To be clear - I've heard nothing - but you never know.
I think one of the issues was getting a good sculptor of females. PCS may have that now. Several females are on the way.
