I like the idea of Joker having Yakuza style Tatoos I also prefer the trench coat look. I would probably make the pants purple with black stripes to give it more of a Joker vibe.

The bloody pants is a nice touch... might look cool to have him pulling a bloody sword out of his cane or it can look like he's putting it away. The cane being the sheath for the sword..

Just some of my ideas

taken into context what theyre going for with this line I actually like it quite a bit. as is I like this best of the three (unless you took away the shoulder pads and giant back drop on batman).

Im kind of surprised at the reaction to all these pieces - xm clearly stated they were going for something completely different than anything comic, movie, game or tv show inspired so I don't understand why people are getting so hung up over it. these were never aimed at purists

Joker looks awesome. Some people who arent even planning on buying this line just want to make negative comments to be dicks. I think the yakuza style tattoos on Joker look sick.

You know what just a few people commenting on this Batman line reminds me of??? When XM Studios was just starting out and the first thing they showed in previews was Captain America. This is Marvel commentary all over again. When I first saw the Captain America...I already knew it was the best Captain America ever made (better yet I ever owned) and there was nothing even close to it as far as I am concerned.

I feel similarly with this Batman line...the difference is...I know it is a unique XM / DC take on the Batman and related character designs.

The thing that drives me crazy is some go overboard (we all have at one time or another at some point) on the facetious comments that come across as trolling. The sleestack Batman, and Pogo stick Batgirl, etc. etc. is pointless.

Not everyone is going to like this due to it not being Classic comic Batman and that is fine...but at the very least, look at the Batman line from what XM is doing via DC's challenge and judge it from that perspective. Put aside your wants when looking at this objectively. XM wants feedback.

If SS were in the area of wanting feedback on their MOTU line, I would give it and do so respectively. Do the same for this line and other lines from other companies, whether you have interest in it or not. Helpful feedback is......helpful.

Honest question....knowing the Joker is inspired by the Yakuza, doesn't it make sense for Joker to sport tattoos???

I like this Joker idea more than the other two (Catwoman and Batman). It reminds me a bit of En from Dorohedoro. The problem is the characters don't mesh. All being Japanese inspired doesn't mean they automatically belong to the same world. The time periods are too far apart.
