Sideshow Colossus PF

Just opened Colossus and his body QC has problems. Scratches or missing paint on his shoulder and left arm. Hopefully, I can get a replacement body. Otherwise, it’s a great statue.

Thanks. The dots on his arm (missing paint) was the first thing I noticed. First time in a while that I have paint QC issues.

Sideshow has no more replacements. They said they exhausted all the replacements They offered new either full refund or take a $70 gift card :/ Not really happy about either.

If they exhausted all their replacement parts they must of had a lot of issues with this statue... Although I don't remember reading a lot of complaints on here.

Sadly, typical SS.

It's possible they didn't have too many replacement parts to begin with. Also, 750 people aren't posting here about this Colossus, we don't know how many non forum owners had issues.

What we do know is that SS won't open a regular and send the body out as a replacement to correct the issue they created.

That's the most frustrating part of dealing with Sideshow. Yes, their customer service is generally good, but it's not perfect. Shipping out statues with issues then expecting you to either keep a damaged statue & take a ridiculously small amount of credit or return it is insulting. It costs a lot of money to get a statue fixed so $70 isn't going to make a dent.

Every statue with quality control issues should be replaced for the prices we pay.

That sucks dude. Totally unacceptable. SS has QC issues a little too often in my opinion. Not only paint either. My 1/4 Sandtrooper’s rifle didn’t fit in his other hand like it’s supposed too. They wanted me to force it in there. I was like will you send me a new one if it breaks..... I didn’t think so.

In most cases, ssc has been pretty good with replacements. I had this on FP and I didn’t want to risk not getting a replacement so I ended my FP early. Sadly, didn’t get one. :/

That is EXTREMELY disconcerting, seeing as the EX only just sold out, you'd think they would surely have replacements available :-( Really hoping that mine comes without issues and I'm sorry they aren't able to resolve your replacement - the full refund you will have to destroy the statue, and the $70 could go towards a paint repair, but as a gift card they remove that option too :-(
