XM Studios Voltron

Hey all,

I have spoken to Ang Sing, he has asked me to find 300 people interested in a XM Voltron, I have also thrown a Poll up on XM Life on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/170321361060688

This would be a "Grail" for me, if you have any interest, please go and Vote!

Please vote YES here as well

Thanks Brothers and Sisters!

It must be Classic.
Should be cast from polyurethane to capture the sharp lines, not their usual cold cast porcelain.

Yes.

But I'm picky. 2 COH, 3 sets arms. Light-up. Classic. Then, it could be a 'grail'.

A no for me, but my older brother would be very interested depending on price. I'll send him the link to make sure he votes in the poll.

Hi,

PU is regular resin right?

Do you know what the Cold cast porcelain actually is?
I was under the impression, it was more stone like than resin and/or polystone, but prob wrong..

I received my XM Doc Ock and used a dremel grinding away some residue around the steel rod and also inside of socket and it smelled just like plain old plastic. Also softer than I thought.

In the past I had a small TMNT statue, also from cold cast porcelain. But touching it, felt colder and more stone like.

Does anyone know what the best (overall quality) material is for statues?
Polystone (white) or (pink) / 100% Resin / CCP etc

Yeah same here. Would love it if it’s not going to cost a small fortune.

The term "resin" is lots of things but mainly any plastic.
Polystone are compund or composite resins. They either have "stone" or porcelain powder. Polystone is the lowest quality of almost any resin with Porcelain being a good step above it.
So basically plastic with porcelain powder mixed in it.
