Took my kids to the Lego Store grand opening today at the Freehold Raceway Mall in NJ.

Picked up 2 free t-shirts for them.

They were starting to build an 8' tall Lego Hulk downstairs. Kids were invited to help with it.

They got certificates for helping with the build.

The smaller Hulk is to show what the big one will look like when it's done.

Quite a ways to go. So far all they had done was the outline of his feet.

The haul.

It was pretty cool. If we didn't get a post card in the mail telling us about it I would never have known.

No problem. We're probably going to go back in a couple days to see how the Hulk is coming along.

That was awsome Pat. What's the population there in Freehold, cuz if it's here in So Cal.....it would've been piles of people with their kids there. Not to metion especially if they're giving out free t-shirts too
I envy you guys over there, cuz there's no way we would even come close to participate any of that stuff without standing in line for hours. Oh, and we do have a Lego stores within 15 miles away.

Yeah it was pretty quiet but we were there at 11am this morning and some kids may still be in school. I would imagine the weekend will be much busier.
