I think the reference picture you are using is spot on. He has a purposeful look on his face, a steely look in the eyes and just the slightest hint of a smile coming across the lips, without looking like a smirk. And still has the iconic look about it without being too specific in facial expression. Side profiles from this reference point would be good. I still feel his left eye in that pic is ever so slightly higher than the right and has the flat spot on the eye lid above the iris. It is exciting seeing your progress on this Bobby.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hi Ty diablo and J, I took your advise, on all levels,
it brought this piece as far as likeness to a higher level by volumes.
you guys are a big help!! I will post pics in a day or so .
since these adjustments,I do not know how much stronger this likeness could be.

I have been working On zod as well with a strong likeness actually very strong.

once I feel I cannot go further , the head will be casted and sent to be scanned to 1/3rd scale.
silicon head.

and half scale for myself to match the Ironman .

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

As rough as it is, the sculpt shows amazing potential. Bobby himself probably couldn't foreseen how good it will be when it's DONE.

lets put it this way, I really know how good it has to be.
It has to be him from every single angle.
the Bruce has to be the same exact way.
the honesty on this board really helps me as a sculptor.

Bobby, one last comment. You may have already changed this, but if the image on your computer is the hero reference, Reeve's right eyebrow is dipping down and just meeting the top of the eye. I guess this helps form some of the purposeful look in his facial expression. The sculpt currently has the right brow with slightly more space above the eye. That's it from me. Can't wait to see the pics of your final result!

getting a bit more Reeve like,
i have another good month left on his face alone.
skin pores, lines , extreamly detailed.
I have to fix the mouth area, just do not like the lips yet, close but not there.

It's looking great bobby. Maybe the upper lip could be thinned out slightly (because of the expression). This reeve will be great.
