You do have a point! However, the bishoujo don't draw inspiration from disney, so they are less scrutinized, i guess!

Probably the same guys who buy Dejah Thoris, Power Girl, Red Sonja, The New Harley statue, pretty much any female statue that shows lots of skin...
This reminds me of The Big Bang Theory episode where the girls come back from Disneyland all done up as princesses and when the guys see them they start tearing off their own clothes (implying they want to have sex with the girls while they're dressed up in the princess costumes)...
I will say that Cinderella looks to be sculpted as a full-grown woman and not a 16-year-old girl... Oh well, nowadays there are always people offended about something or another...

I don’t think anyone was trying to say they weren’t “inspired” by Disney (at least I wasn’t). Disney has popularized these characters to the point that they might as well own them as they’re always associated.
However, my point was, It’s not THE Cinderella from the animated classic. So we don’t know they age of the character. Based on appearance I would not guess that she’s under 18. It’s a silly argument regardless.

Yeah, that's the line I won't cross, they put 12-year-old girl faces on fully grown female bodies, whose's female body parts are usually exaggerated 20x, and put them in extremely sexual poses... now that's some creepy stuff...

You know it. Life is short, I say buy what you like. Happy with my Bishoujos, Bombshells, Cover Girls, and various other female pieces.
Growing up a comic book/fantasy/anime/sci fi nerd gave me thick skin as to what others think of me and my interests.
The Alice in this line is a superb statue and Cinderella looks great to me.

It is a little hypocritical on my part since I love the Dejah Thoris statue, i guess the one difference is it's a adult comic, whereas Cinderella was writen for teenage girls most definitely, when my daughter was little, me and her watched Dora the explorer, if js Campbell decides to do a mature Dora with a thong, I just dont think I could buy it, no matter how different it looked
