Sculptor... It's hard to be?

Recently i was looking at stan winston's home page, and I am a little disappointed by some things that read.
It's really so dificult to be an artist?. Well, i believe that who has that talent also have the talent to resist all the obstacles that come with it.

What do you think??

It's not difficult to be an artist, IMO. It's just hard to get paid being an artist. Unfortunately bills have to be paid while honing your craft and shopping your work around. Unless you work at a counter somewhere where you can draw, sculpt, etc.. between customers, or put your life's obligations on hold an sculpt like hell everyday after work, I'd say that being a paid/commissioned artist is pretty much a pipe dream. That's just me though.
