Same here, I didn't expect to be in the majority, thought it would either be 20's or 50's.

Not everyone adds their age to their profile, but browsing the birthday calendar, month-by-month, seems to contradict this thread. Most common ages there are 40s, by far, with some mid-to-late 30s.

I wish the site made more stats available. I find them interesting. Could be pulling in various voluntary info from profiles.

How large is the average collection?
Where are members located?
Who is the most favorite (popular) sculptor?
Favorite company?

I find this info interesting too, hence the thread, and I think that's a great idea. I've seen other forums have little stats like that in the avatar section, maybe that could be an idea up for vote?
