Because the last dozen or so release have been rife with really poor quality control.

The poor painting on this Silvestri statue..

The poor painting and leaning production issues with the Sean Murphy Batman statue (the prototype has him jumping straight up, but the released version is crooked. The paint on the base (particularly the edges) chip.

The Bruce Timm Batgirl has many casting errors, made much more evident by its simple design...

The ABYSMAL paint job on the Rocafort statue...

The McFarlane statue looks amazing! But i have zero confidence on their production team to deliver.

I used to have quite a few of these (see post 310), but the quality on these have gone down the drain since the 2017 releases. I have since sold off every single piece I had.

Good to know. I can say the Neal Adam's Designer Series Superman turned out great.

I tried to get a Norm Breyfogle B&W but after two tries with issues I just let it go. My Batman Who Laughs came out great first try though.

I haven't seen the same issues with the Designer Series pieces I have (Mignola, Capullo, Kubert, Lee Superman, Cho WW, Frison WW).

It's mainly the B&W line that has succumb to the very same issues that are plaguing the RWB Harley line.

Bummer on the Breyfogle piece. Fortunately, mine came out great!

yesterday I ordered Rocafort Bats from Amazon, and that makes officially caught up with the exception of Silvestri. I don't know whether to take a chance and order him through Sideshow, or Amazon. I'm having a hard time finding an LCS with him in stock. Thoughts? I went ahead and Pod every statue up to Mcfarlane through SS.

Sideshow seems to be the only place that has the Silvestri in stock right now if you're in a rush to get it.
