I was there a few years ago. A friend and I were in the autograph room talking to the still beautiful Dee Wallace.
As we walked away, my friend noticed Adrienne Barbeau across the ballroom. He doesn't care for her and before I had the chance to shush him, he wrang out "Adrienne Barbeau?...I Hate Adrienne Barbeau."..Well, she heard him. I was a few steps behind so wasn't guilty by association, but Adrienne wasn't shy. She stared him down every time he approached her area. It was hilarious to watch. This guy was such a boob, I warned him ahead of time not to just go screaming up to B-movie actor's tables as there is often a note of desperation in their motivation to sell autographs. This same chum walked right up to an old Ed Wood actor and just couldn't escape. LOL - he ended up w/ autographed photos, DVD's, mini-posters..and the actor didn't have change for a $50.
