I agree, they should change the description, but even if they burned their entire stock and committed seppuku on SS live, I get the feeling that wouldn't be enough.
They invested in a product and decided to put it out and cut their losses, and based on the apparent rate of return, there will be losses and wasted warehouse space (which is very expensive) for a long time. Expecting them to stop selling or promoting a piece they already paid to have made because you don't like it and opted for a refund, is a little much, IMO.

Only those who are returning.
They will not refund NRD's etc. on cancellations unless you phone and try to convince them that it's the right thing to do (which it IS).

I deleted my comment because I thought better of getting into this again.
NRDs are NRDs. And the fact that they're still letting people off the hook if you call them again, IMO, shows that they're trying to satisfy people.
I don't get what people want. I mean, obviously they wanted a great piece, but it didn't happen, and that sucks, but it's like people just wait for these things to happen to grind axes.

As you can clearly see from the pictures from Sideshow Live there is no seam and this is likely the prototype and not the final product.

It is indeed. Although that does raise the question, is the prototype plastic? And if not, why the need to use said material on the production pieces as the prototype looked amazing.

Prototypes are cast in house at Sideshow, highly doubt they have the ability to use PVC in house so usually, and I could be wrong, but I'd say most Prototypes are going to be resin.
Also, when they go to PVC it's more than likely the factory either telling them it will be for the benefit of the piece or because they request it. Which this was we'll never know. I do know that the factories have input on materials due to how something is put together, cast or even because of concerns with shipment.

If they give a significant price drop during Spook i'd pick this up. I can repaint it. The pvc wouldnt bother me at a much lower price point.
At least the recasts will be easy to spot, they'll be the ones made of resin.
