And, Sideshow Art Department, can you throw this version of Storm up on the statue design board please?! Thanks!
(And as I sidenote, I think David Yardin is one of the best Ororo drawers out there. He is all around great, but really does her justice.)

I would love a 1/4 scale statue of this.... it really has become one of my favorite looks for her.

Agreed 100% on Storm. Bring her on. I'm a big Adams fan myself. Love his design for her as well.
Indominitus, this is most definitely THE Wolverine thread, but when a piece comes out this Astonishing , there is not much to say except random cheerful banter imo.
He is amazing and I still can't wait for PO day.
It also gets my geek blood flowing and my head starts thinking what else they have for us to come.
Good times.

I can say that even though I won't be picking this up happy to see Wolverine options in circulation. I guess we can thank the digital sculpt craze. Read some articles foreboding tough times ahead for statue companies when 3D printers become affordable and you can just print this stuff at home with your own image files and color selections. Just like digital did for the music industry. But what do I know?

Anymore pictures with him and cowl on? Judging by how lack lustre the Carnage PF was for me I'm concerned on QC for this one. Amazing detail and pose I need this type of Wolverine in 1/4 but it all depends on execution.

The promo was the only cowl shot I’ve seen. I like the unmasked so much that I can see myself displaying it more and that’s unusual for me but I’m really looking forward to seeing more of the cowl as well.

Finally an answer on who sculpted this beauty. Though multiple artists were mentioned as part of the team, Martin Canale was front and center. Though Canale has always been one of my favorite sculptors/artist, I felt that his work suffered when he switched from traditional clay sculpting to digital. Maybe a learning curve on his part, (that's why I passed on Apoc, a sad day), but this sculpt puts Martin back on top of the heap, where he belongs. If this is a digital sculpt(?), congrats Mr. Canale, you have truly arrived. If this is a traditional sculpt(?), welcome home Mr. Canale, and don't ever leave home again! Simply a masterpiece.
