Maybe in your opinion, but if I want porn I'll pick up a porn magazine ... I've personally always hated the Hughes style and thought it would be better suited in those magazines rather than comics.
I still can't believe that DC gave up thier MB line for this crap! Someone that actually knows what they're doing really needs to take the helm at DC Direct Development Dept. and seriously kick some ass.

That's because DC Direct keeps making the same mistakes over and over again ... most collectors won't even bother pickin up thier stuff anymore for fear of the line being dropped in mid-stream.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I really like DC Direct's products, and I own quite a few of them. I do however, find it disconcerting that so many seemingly promising lines end abruptly...the JLA busts, the Silver Age busts, the Classic Animation Maquettes are all examples (and now, it appears even the JLU Maquettes have suffered a similar fate). What I really don't like is that half the time, there's no word put out as to whether or not a line has been cancelled...we pretty much end up having to infer based on a dearth of product.

DC direct is the most frustrating company to deal with. They are so out of touch with the statue and bust market.
They have some of the best sculptors to work with too, which amkes it even worse.

I think what some of you don't realize is that all of the busts that have been announced are really all hughes has drawn over the years for DC. Having said that it would be fitting if it did end there.
