Iron Studios: DC Comics 1:10 Scale Statues

Ok, I just got back into town not that long ago so I'm not up to taking pictures.

First impressions:

The statue looks nice, but I'm less than thrilled with it.

IS went really cheap with the hands. They just peg into her bracelets. So instead of spending a little bit more to have magnets you get swap out hands with tiny pegs that feel like they could break easily. Oh and the peg on the spear hand fits very loosely in the bracelet while the free hand doesn't seem to go as far in as it should, so there isn't a lot of joy to be had owning the EX.

All the paint is clean, but I was expecting it to pop a little bit more. I'm trying to look at the statue under different lighting to see if the shading is more visible but I'm not having much luck. Could be my eyes are tired.

I don't know. It's Wonder Woman so I suspect she will sell well, but if I had to do it over again I would wait for a discount on the regular version.

Alright, after getting some much needed sleep and taking some photos I feel better about getting her. Definitely looks better in my pictures than with the naked eye though. I forgot to take photos with the extra lasso that you place on her belt hook.

She looks good to me. I like her face more than I thought I would. The spear still looks awkward but the lasso looks great.

Yeah her face looks a lot better in your pictures then IS promotional ones..

I love the classic look of Wonder Woman here. Maybe will get eventually but there are so many other WW statues now.

The spear position is adjustable (forward and back). The position I have it in was the best one to keep the hand from falling out.

Yeah her face is very pretty from the side and from most angles it looks good.

In most of the photos I used the camera flash with low exposure. If the sun ever comes out again this year I'll try to get some pictures in natural daylight.

Well it's not like you need another one.

I do think the best thing this WW has over others is that it creates the illusion she's springing into action. Definitely getting some action pieces to put around her.

I don’t think anything looks wrong with the way you have it just that the pose doesn’t look natural with the spear. I think a sword and shield option would have been better but I really like the lasso.

I was iffy on this one but liking what I see and looking forward to getting her.

I'd love to see brighter pictures, frontal pictures with the lasso

Yeah those IS photos made the face look not so great but her face in these photos actually looks good. May have to get this now...
