Doesn't surprise me at all considering how well received this one was.

I'm not sure why they would do another blue version though; they're going to feel pretty similar. I still think it should be the brown costume.

I'll still be interested to see how it turns out though; this in the "classic" look and the XM Brown could be a really good combo. Which is probably part of the reason why they'd go the classic route.

And even like a minute after 2:40 where the guest alludes to the current wolverine PF , and the girl just has an instant “busted” look on her face .
But I really hope they do a brown suit variant ( fingers crossed) ... the classic yellow and blue will be far to similar to the current wolverine PF that most collectors have already .. either way they do this variant it’ll be a must have for me 100%
As much as I love this sculpt I really don’t care for the astonishing suit so this will be awesome

I heard this same speculation with the Legendary scale figure.

The rumors were even more potent with that one because the box was specifically labeled something like "Blue version"or Blue Variant".

I'm also not seeing anything at 2:40 that looks substantially different than the current (and absolutely killer) astonishing version. Same knee pads for one thing. For another, the brown suit doesn't have shoulder guards.

Not saying there won't be a brown variant, just that I'm not seeing any hint here that the current Astonishing one will be repurposed.

its not the sculpt its the classic costume source material theyre referencing while "designing" this wolverine statue. plus the fact that susan doesnt know how to respond to the guy when he asks "why is martin designing something thats already made?"

If there is a variant, I'm sticking with the current PF. I really like the Astonishing costume. I already have the OG Wolvie COM and the HULK vs Wolverine MAQ so that's plenty of classic Wolverine for me to look at. I also have the brown PF. I know the brown PF isn't very popular but I dig it. I'm happy to have a version of the Astonishing costume in my collection.
