The He-Man action figures and the Kenner Star Wars figures. Those were the days man. I sniffed that ---- like crazy. I sniffed them just as much as I played with them.

Yeah I love the smell of PVC. If you keep them completely enclosed in a sealed display case and open it, the smell is great. It really has a nostalgic kind of thing going for it. If you just kept them out in the open though it's not going to be a smell you can notice.

But if you could get a 1/4 Sagat full pvc with better paint/detail and the only difference was it weighed 90% less what WOULDN'T be good about that? As long as the bases were still wood and awesome. When I think PVC statue I always think "cheap plastic base" though.
Yeah nostalgia and tradition is always the worst things for just about any form of progress though. People need to see to believe so Jerry just needs to bite the bullet and release something so we can see how we feel about it.

I hope this new materials don't look like SS eggshell materials used on rhino PF. That rhino thread is crazy the way SS did it with the cheaper materials used.

Im 100% sure Jerry wont disappoint. The Rhino has some weight to it. Regardless of what materials are used as long as the piece looks good its a buy and price is a determining factor.

Those Rhinos are messed up. If that is the future of "light weight" products I'll probably be passing.

I'm wondering since Jerry confirmed the revisit will be akuma if he will be the "new type of statue" or if he would be like the rest of the sf statues.

He also said it was a new license. Maybe it's the unannounced movie license he spoke of in the ask question thread.
