Wow thats alot the guy who paints my stuff normaly does not charge more than 150.00 for a FS. The Sharon he just done for me he did for a 100.00. I could not see myself paying 400.00 for a paint job.

Guys I did not take that doomsday after all, I ended up taking a bigger and pre-painted doomsday instead. so there is no need for a painter anymore.

It's a hobby, booney, even a dummy could lift an airbrush and deliver a paint job of certain quality. How can one call that an expertise if one is not as good as Danno, Rick or other pros...

It's not those who charge next to nothing affecting the market alone, you have to understand even ones that charge next to nothing is not getting business...
People are just more conservative trying to cope with the shrinking dollar.

I guess if you don't know the difference between a good, bad or average paint job, I see your point.
If it doesn't matter if the piece is sanded smooth or if imperfections are fixed or if it is pinned correctly or multiple layers of shading is used. You're right, don't waste money if you can't see a difference.

I know the difference between good and bad. The guy who paints my stuff is very professional removes seams no imperfections mutiple layers of shading sends progress pics everything you mentioned he does. He just does not charge an arm and leg.
