Do this Brom one. It won a Silver in Spectrum this year. Plus I own it.

Not sure what Brom is calling it. I think Redwing. I commissioned him to do it. He owns the rights. It's really, really beautiful and large.

Oh I remember you mentioning that awhile ago. How special for you to have a statue made from this piece?

It would be awesome if someone made a statue of this for sure. I would really like a statue of this painting.

It's Desolation Angel from Magic the Gathering Apocalypse, or at least he borrowed from his own work. Brom was the artist for that card. Does he own the rights to that character since he did it for Wizards of the Coast, or did you just commission something "similar" from that card? They're both pretty sweet, and buy two of those if a piece was made from Fremen's commission.

I did comission him to do one of his dark angels. He then did a number of quick sketches and I picked this one. He was pleased because out of the three he sent me, this one he had floating around in his head for a while and wanted to do it.

It will be in the issue of Spectrum that is coming out soon.

This is not Desolation Angel but he did borrow from it as I kind of asked him to. I love Desolation Angel and his other one that he did.

Me too!

I would really like to see Yamato take this on in a 1/4 scale resin piece.

I don't think Brom gives up the rights to many of his paintings. It makes me wonder about that Desolation Angel piece. He calls that one Black Wing. I wonder if Wizards owns the rights or if he managed to keep them.
I know Franklin Mint did a sculpt similar, probably based on that painting and it is part of their Brom line.
