Got my Silky Floss home today.
I feel really bummed. I was very looking forward to Silken Floss, I had very very high expectations.
Hot Toys guy figures are no problems at all, because most of the time the body language can be posed with the Hot Toys figure. Heroic, strong, chest out, arms out...etc. But the posing of a woman, a comic woman in particular is very different. It has the body language of a comic woman. But when you look at Hot Toys Silky Floss, somehow the doll body structure does not allow for her to be posed in a feminine way.
Her face is Scarlett Johansen, but her body posture is a Hot Toys guy.
Her uniform makes her look fat. The uniform is finely made in the prototype, but in the actual product, especially the collar, you can see that they have a lot of large thread knots. Not so nice.
The good things? The face is great, the hat is great, the boots are great.
