I dont know man. Doesnt look terrible but still looks like an ebay knock off 100%. If someone screenshot this from an ebay page peeps would be laughing.

the matte wasnt crazy thing to achieve and neither is the tiny... tiny amount of flesh tone.

not much to ask for considering international converted price point. Completely different game to the US collectors, granted i know internationals are still gonna pay for this piece, just saying, totally different game.

i got sold on the proto paint app. Paints gotta compliment the sculpt.

Well from that video the color of the paint job on this piece is changes with the lighting. The up close view it looks like the paint color in the prototype , but from a distance in full light it is brighter. So from what I can see people shouldn't be worried about it being a super bright red unless you have really bright lights.

The Show itself was Amateur Hour at your Local Middle School

This Idea to do this came up the night before over a couple left handed Cigs, they need better research and Price info, sad attempt to be a Statue Sophisticate, and I wonder if the Big Guy wearing the Led Zepplin shirt really listens to them? Fake Laugh, Hiding Real Pain.

Now the Statue, I like what I see, but they did only open a Reg. Version, don't think they know about the EX, I'll be Gentle 1/16th of 1 Star out of 5.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Most of the vids on the tube are

'duuuuh, i like the base, the detail, duuuuh'

Most of the time I watched the vids muted.

don't blame you Ras, unless there is something specific, like how a piece goes together, other than that, Meh

EXACTLY! I have no idea why it's so damn hard to add some facial contouring through paints. And how hard is it to shade the eyes like the proto? The factory doesn't even need to worry about getting the eyes looking in the same direction on this piece and it STILL gets weaker apps.

#killinmesmalls

SS knows their factories can't match the protos in flesh paints and contouring, so please stop having mad skilled painters do the protos. Use the same factory that will paint the actual products. IMO those aren't bad paints apps, they are just NEVER going to match the intricate detail of the inhouse protos.

There's just no excuse for the difference between prototype and production on this piece. The paint job is so simple.

The shade of red on the production piece is HORRIFIC and nearly kills an incredibly elegant sculpt stone dead.

This was my most wanted Sideshow piece in 3 years and I just find it incredibly frustrating that they can't get the basics right. Green Goblin, He Man, Captain Marvel - all came out fine. Why can't Sideshow be consistent?
