The proto of this statue is an absolute work of art. From sculpt to paint apps this Sonja is mind blowing in every way. I truly feel this will be the definitive Red Sonja statue everyone that's a fan of the character will want. I can only hope SSC releases a 1/4 Conan statue that makes me feel the same way. I'd love to pair them up if I can find a 1/4 Conan that strikes me the way this Sonja does.

I'm going to have to disagree with you if you're talking about Sonja. Many people photographed her and took videos of her at SDCC. What we saw was amazing and no photoshop was involved.

As for what the production pieces will look like...only time will tell. Not every SSC release is plagued by rampant QC issues. They are capable of releasing stunning statues. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen as often as we'd like.

Yeah I'm actually considering selling mine. Definitely no need for 2 red sonjas in my collection and every time I look at the original I'm just disappointed when I think of what it could have been.

I did already too. Production paint ruined that one for me.
