Hmm. Guess I'm alone on this one. Entertaining, but felt a little 'B Team' to me, in execution. Fan service and straightforward exposition off the charts, to the detriment of better pace. 34 minutes? Really Disney?
The scenario I feared (Palpatine) apparently coming to fruition. Not unexpected, but disappointing. And I cringe every time I see that Dark Saber. Guess I really need to give it a chance in Clone Wars...

Personally, this show is first time live action Star Wars has felt like the original films for me.

These are my feelings as well on both counts.
With regards to tonights episode...it was so amazingly awesome to see Boba in action. We never saw him do much of anything in the original trilogy except look cool, and tonight's ep reminded me of how cool Boba was in the bounty hunter book series. He was someone to be reconned with and that was definitely shown tonight!
I do agree with the comment on his boiler though...way to big. He needs to mix in some salads...

I had one issue with this episode after watching it.
Why was Boba tracking Mando to get his Armor back? He had to go across the galaxy to do that, when he could have just gotten it back from Cobb on tatooine. Where they both were.

Something hilarious and cute to see Grogu doing a Mudra (hand gesture) with his three fingers when meditating.
Actually, anything he does is cute. Even wrecking those Stormtroopers back and forth. His little hands. lol

I wonder that as well. Cobb had the armor for awhile it seems. Why did Boba wait so long to come looking for it?

One idea is Boba seems to have a code of honour so perhaps he felt Cobb using it to defend people was something to monitor, but not take. He kept a close eye and once Din took it he felt it was fair to claim it. After doing so he did swear a debt to recoup Grogu. Perhaps time in the pit and after made him change in ways.
All speculations unless we get a show or this show expands on it. Wait and see.

I reckon he was in retirement. Nursed back by sand people after having his armour stolen off his near copse by jawas. Lived as a nomad for years then made his way back to civilization. Figures his armor is gone then follows Mando to take his. Sees the shooting of Fennec Shand. Takes heR in then tracks Mando to the outpost and sees his old gear.

I could see something like that. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out in a comic series, starting with how he escaped the sarlacc and showing his adventures over the next 5 years, but hopefully he would use Slave I and not be stuck on Tatooine the whole time...or maybe that's what a Disney+ Fett series would explore.

Another great episode...Boba looks awesome! This sets up what I have to think is a long running finale episode. There is too much to tie up for one quick battle. As this was basically a side mission to get to Grogu. Man I hope they are filming season 3 so we don’t have to wait a year to see what’s up.
