I prefer the closed mouth anyhow. Giger's version of the head never had any animatronics and thus wasn't meant to be opened.

Me too I prefer the closed mouth as well but happy to have another head and can’t wait to see it in person.
Any convention soon where we can see mpre pictures of this figure? We just have 2 videos in youtube and the promotional pictures right? Ok, and some photos from prime 1 shop...i need more!lol

I love them both but the most iconic one, closed mouth of course... the good thing is that i’ll have both possibilities to display

Prime 1 have reduced the ES numbers on these. Both regular versions now have only 100 each. The DX version of the action pose has 250.
The museum pose will be especially rare once sold out given that there's only 100 of those compared to 350 of the other one in total.
I am tempted to grab one, but they want $450 shipping for it! Prime 1 really need to sort that out already.

An ES of 100 definitely adds urgency to this piece, but $1700 is just too much for a statue that isn't quite what I wish it were. The wall and base do nothing for me and there's no way I'm putting in the additional time, effort, and money to customize a solution for something this expensive.

That's a good ES. It makes it feel like its collectibles again.

The wall hung option just seems odd. The piece is pricey.

I agree that these are way too expensive. Seems we're not alone as apparently nobody is buying them. Prime 1 already cancelled a few of the Alien wall hangers which were also pricey for what they were. Maybe Prime 1 should re-evaluate their current pricing structure as we are prime targets for these things and we're not buying them. I'd like to, but it's just too much, and that's before their ridiculous shipping prices and the 20% duty etc many of us face.
