Midtown is a heavy weight comic shop here in NYC. I work one block from them. They are very professional and always courteous.

Looks like the hub bub is dying down on these here Sucker Punch statues. Looks like Baby Doll sold out real quick in a panic kinda way, but Sweet Pea and Lollipop seem to be shelf huggers.....wonder whats going on?

Baby Doll had an ES of 500, so I think there was a lot of retailer and flipper speculators grabbing her. Plus Baby Doll is the main character so which would also make her in high demand. GG probably mistook this as real demand so they increased the ES of Amber and Sweat Pea. We still don't know their ES. I have a feeling these will be over-produced and eventually on clearance like much of GG product line as of late.

As much as I don't subscribe to the high edition size-no buy mentality, I hope the edition run doesn't go beyond 1000. My guess is that GG is waiting for the movie to come out and dictate how big the edition size will be. The movie is indeed going to make money. I can't see it tanking. However, the barometor GG will probably use is how well it's critically recieved. If the movie hits it out of the park in that critieria, then I see the edition size being closer to two thousand.

Well that would make some sense, I guess, the ES I mean.
I always associate a low ES to higher quality, more time for the artists to spend time on each figure. I know its a little comic to think in these terms, logical as they may be, as, at the end of the day its all about making as much money for as little input....this I know

She looks like Daisy from that Rock of Love season...combined with that giant Chloe Kardashian sister.
I can't not see it.

Good catch. I ordered both Baby Doll and Sweat Pea through them. I guess it's safe to say Sweat Pea will get canceled.
